In this episode, the second on the theme of nuclear fusion, I meet with Simon Pinches. Simon works at ITER at the test reactor site in Cadarache, near Aix-en-Provence in Southern France. As section leader of the modelling and simulation team, he is responsible for crucial parts of the software.
