Phillip is the director of the University of Maryland Computational Linguistics and Information Processing Laboratory, and a researcher and consultant with extensive experience in natural language processing and text analytics, specializing in combining knowledge based and corpus based statistical techniques. He is also a Strategic Technology Advisor to 3M Health Information Systems and the Founder of React Labs.
